Start from a small fenced play area, next to the square of Santuario Gesù Bambino di Praga.
Follow the asphalt road, which passes next to an ancient Saracen Tower, (via Costa dei Frati) uphill; at the third bend (on the left)take the path called "Sentiero degli Inglesi"
The trail climbs rapidly for about two kilometers, following the signs for "Curlo" - "Passo della Gava".
The Curlo picnic area is located in a panoramic position from which, on clear days, it’s possible to distinguish Corsica; it’s a green space in which to spend a quiet day having a barbeque, with a source water and tables.
From Curlo it’s also possible to observe birds of prey passing and, in the migration season (end of March), the passage of Bianconi and other species returning from the southern lands, towards northern Europe. The “lane” of Arenzano, due to its orographic characteristics, is an almost obligatory point of passage, to the delight of the enthusiasts who spend their Sundays waiting.
