Lago della Tina

Road Access

There leave the car, and take a dirt road to the left of an indicative panel which, slightly but steadily climbing, after about 2 km leads to Passo Gua.

Here go straight on trail sign T ignoring the deviations to the right and left.

The path leads, through sights of some characteristic lakes and waterfalls in the valley of the Leone stream and sections immersed in the woods, to “Passo du Figu”.

Here, before crossing the stream, leave the main path to follow a marked track to the right that goes up the river: after a first pool, continue along some smooth rocks (pay close attention), facilitated in some places by cemented steps, cross another beautiful lake and, having bypassed a short rock ledge, go up the last slab to the shores of the splendid “Lago della Tina”.

It’s a large "giant's pot" modeled by water, with about 5 m of diameter and 5-6 meters deep, fed by a copious waterfall. On the left, a damp wall is characterized by a continuous dripping, contributing to making this corner even more scenic and picturesque.
This beautiful and easy excursion is suitable for everyone in any season of the year.

In summer, be careful not to move during the hottest hours and to bring water, a hat and sunscreen.

The small lake lends itself to a regenerating bath.
