Ai Belli Venti

Road Access

In the square of the "Santuario Gesù Bambino di Praga", to the left, there is a short staircase that joins the paved road “Via Costa dei Frati”. Continue uphill, passing the “Torre dei Saraceni”, ignoring secondary deviations for about a kilometer. After a few bends, at a crossroads, there is a sign for Rocca Vaccaria (path marked by a white V) on the right; you pass a house, “Ca 'Bugioa”, beyond which, on the left, near a fence, you take the path that climbs quickly into the woods.

Description

Higher up, where a beautiful view of Arenzano opens up, pass by “Fonte Brassettu” spring (altitude 448) and, shortly after, you will find a path marked with a red A on a white background. Follow it to the right for a few hundred meters, passing the "Fonte Suvia Brassetto" spring, beyond which the white V goes on a branch to the left. The path climbs sharply between grass and rocks, passing near some high voltage pylons and reaching the most important path marked with two red points, coming from Arenzano with which you quickly reach Passo Gavetta pass (718 m).

Clearly on the right you meet the trace of the path marked with three red circles that finally leads to "Rocca dell’ Erxo "(898 m). In an environment of lively rocky ridges there is the small shelter "Ai belli winds" from which it offers an extraordinary view of Arenzano and Genoa.

(Once you reach the shelter you can continue, following the three red points, towards the Tardie pass, follow the red X that goes down to the left towards the Gava pass from which, through the cart track, you can easily reach the Curlo picnic area.

From here you can go down through a path or a paved road following the markers for Arenzano - the ride is about 14 km).
