The Aquarium of Genoa is the largest exhibition of aquatic fauna in Europe, and it is tourist destination of over a million visitors every year.
Inaugurated in 1992, on the occasion of the Colombiadi, it is a treasure of biodiversity, with its 27,000 square meters and over 12,000 specimens of 600 different species of marine animals.
