Husband and wife, brilliant, busy, childless, find themselves struggling with a teenager, the daughter of a couple of acquaintances.

At first the girl, met by chance, asks for hospitality at dinner due to the absence of her parents, then for one night, for two, until she moves into the house of the two astonished spouses and occupies one of their rooms without wanting to leave and refusing the contact with the rest of the world.
