Villa Mina

Villa Mina, whose building dates back to 1928, is located in the centre of Arenzano, opposite the Parish Church. It represents an example of Art nouveau.

The garden is of particular interest because of the presence of monumental centuries-old trees (holm oaks and cypresses), with walking paths, bordered by small channels made in "Risseu" a typical decoration made with selected stones, chosen by colour and size, on river banks and sea beaches.

One of the arboreal excellences of the Villa Mina garden is the Monterey cypress, a medium size evergreen tree from California, introduced in Europe in the mid-19th century; it reaches 20 meters in height and the leaves, if rubbed, give off a citrus scent.
