Villa Figoli des Geneys

Villa Figoli des Geneys, located on the promenade, for its richness and majesty, was celebrated by the poet Giosuè Carducci, who was its guest, in the short lyric: “In una villa”. Its main feature is the large garden framed by beautiful avenues where there are many specimens of palm trees, evergreen plants and magnolias. Since 2018, the park of Villa Figoli des Geneys is the seat of the summer events in Arenzano. In the Show Area take place: opera, ballet, cabaret shows, music, DJ sets, singers and important events such as the Mare e Monti International Walk and the Mezza Carolina day, an event dedicated to the iconic cocktail created in Arenzano. The mansion is currently the headquarter of Fondazione Accademia Marina Mercantile organising higher training courses for onboard cruise ships Hotellerie. You can enter the park from two entrances: Lungomare Olanda, on the sea side, through the wonderful wooden antique door and from Via Olivete, on the historic centre side.
